1948. What you have is the M1911A1 made in Argentina FOR the Argentine military on Colt machinery, under the supervision of Colt when they first started.
Unlike the Ballester-Molina, which really only shares a barrel and mag with a 1911, you could swap out all the parts of yours with a Colt.
