I have been up and down on what I am looking for. But the Ultra 3" .45 is now top of my list. Anybody in the Valley maybe Phoenix and East from there got one for sale?

Did you get a chance to check out the Springfield XDs? If so, what did you think of it.

scott, the new Xd is crazy small. I have yet to see one but saw an "actual size" photo. Think I am looking more 1911. Unless there's something out there that really grabs me

Was firing a Kimber Pro-Carry over the weekend. I think it was the Pro Carry.

Anyway, very compact for a 1911. Everyone who shot it agreed it was the favorite on the table of a couple dozen guns.

Except maybe for my AR15-22, but that would be a bit difficult to conceal. ;)

May I make a suggestion? I have a ultra compact. But it is slowly becomeing a standby weapon. I picked up a kimber compact. ultra lower and a commander size upper. I think you might prefere it over the ultra. That extra inch sight radias really makes pointing more natural. And the extra inch does nothing to interfere with concealment. Sense it is in your pants. Just a suggestion
