I'm looking for a scope for my 22 rifle and sadly I've never had to buy a scope before, so I'm not real sure what to look for.
The rifle is a Mossberg 352KD .22LR, semi-auto; manufactured between '68-'71 (if that matters). It is primarily for rodent control, target shooting, teaching the kids, popping zombie heads, etc. No major hunting plans for it, just a basic home/range use weapon. Not sure what pricing range I'll be looking at, but hoping to stay in the $100-$150 range (preferably less, if available).

Any suggestions?

I have one and the bdc turrets really work. You might also look at the fixed low power (2.5X) shotgun scopes as their parallax is set for 50-70 yards. Rimfire scopes are parallax set at 50 yards while CF scopes are set at 100 yards. The BSA above has an adjustable objective (AO) and ca be set for anything you want.
Another option is a red dot.
