3 weeks ago it would ahve been easy..
But right now the market is so topsy turvy, I'd go for any AR you cna afford thats now junk.
So avoid Hesse/Vulcan and whatever that 3rd bad brand is.
    Most others at gtg.

Even the entry level brands like DPMS and Delton are GTGthese days in opinion (own 2 Deltons they shoot as well as my RRA and my DD, though the finish on the RRA and the DD is much nicer)

Small gunstores in the boonies may even have some inventory left.
I was able to buy a nice rifle at pre-panic price a mere 4 days ago.

    But its very difficult now.

If you are a newbie to AR's I would reocmmend either waiting until the bubble is over or to go AK (which are experincing a weaker bubble)

Y not? I'm fishing a mermaid in the sea :). Free market and supply vs demand. U like it buy it, u dont like it then get the hell out. Maybe it's just me. :)

Way to discourage the newbie :(

I think there are still guns out there to be had even if there is a premium to be paid these days.
But our hobby is still viable.:)

I am just joining the hype Q. Selling isn't my priority. And do you think there will be someone to buy it? I myself don't think there is. Funny thing is.. yesterday i received an offer of $5K for it. But i said "No Thx". Angel side of me said... don't take it, you listed it for fun remember? While the Evil said of me said "Come on, why that guy didn't offer at least $7K?"

    Back to the original question:
the "lower end" AR's are a lot better than their rep a slong as you stay away from Hesse/Vulcan.. DPMS and Delton for example make pretty good rifles at affordable prices.

Other than the nicer finish on my Rock River and Daniel Defense its hard to tell a difference in performance from my Deltons.:)

I have a Del-ton Echo 316/MOE and its a damn good carbine IMHO. I paid 699+tax for it about 6mos ago. Anybody who would pay these outragous prices being asked by scumbags either has too much money or they are stupid. Again, just my opinion.
