Congratulations. They are superb guns. I have the M&P40 40C and the Shield. The gun is put together very tight when you take it out of the box. The slide catch and the trigger will change over the course of the first hundred rounds or so. Even though it is new make sure you field strip it and clean and oil it. Once broke in it will give you many years of great shooting. Enjoy.

got my M&P .40 full size and I've gotta tell you it fits my hands like a glove. The trigger on the other hand could be better. I guess I'll have to give it a 1000 round trigger job. It shoots where you point the front post, I truly love my M&P .40. Does anyone know where I can buy a conversion barrel to 9mm and where can i get 9mm mags?

My friend has one I was just shooting it its a great gun he had his dura coated olive drab lol
