Sooo i scored ona 500box of Hornaday 200g .45auto .452"L SWC today for 50bux, happy asa clam in mud. Ive been using nothing but 230g FMJ RN until SHTF in the supply line. I hav all my data worked out for the FMJ and its workin great.

I cannot seem to find the load data for my powder for this bullet. Its not a weird powder, its Alliant-Power Pistol. Is there a powder that is in the same ballpark as PP i could use the data to start from? I guess the only thing im tryn to be carefull about is these SWC are lead and not jacketed.

Ive been pouring over books and online tryin to find the specific data, but im just not seeing it:mad:

Be aware that the Hornady Lead Bullets are Swaged Bullets. This means that they are NOT hard cast. The Hornady bullets are softer than hard cast, and should be loaded accordingly. Usually at a slower speed than hard cast.

Hope this helps..Bill.

Bill Thanx a bunch for that reply because that is the only load data ive bean able to find right or wrong. Im kinda hopin a couple others might chime in on what they have for data because its all i could find for bullets what so ever.

Im seriously thinkin of just buying another pound of powder that is more common then power pistol. Woulda thought anything Allaint would be listed.
