What do you guys think about Llama handguns? I've had one come up in a trade offer recently and don't know much about them. It's a good looking gun, looks a lot like a Colt Mustang.

Any advice on them is well appreciated.

So the trade is the pistol, $125 cash, and 75rds for it.

All that for my Universal M1 Carbine

Id still keep it over a 380 but that's just me. Maybe bc the m1 is worth ALOT more than the llama

This M1 was valued at $475 retail

The trade has changed. The pistol, $125, 50rds .380, and 60rds 5.56. I'm really torn on this. I may use the cash to buy a lower and start a new build.

Since I don't have much into the M1 I'm gonna go for it. It will give me the chance to start the build I've been putting off, and it will give me another project gun.

I always thought that Llamas were cheap and low quality firearms. Am I mistaken? Either way, I wouldn't trade an M-1 for a .380 of any kind. Just my opinion...

Cheap yes. Low quality-no. They are like Toledo steel daggers-ugly but reliable and you damn sure don't want one used on you

The little Llamas I've sen are hit or miss as far as reliability and fuction go. I had a friend who had one that would run like a clock and feed just about any ammo.

My Brother-in-law got one and it was a turd.

If that M1 runs, I wouldn't gamble on a Llama.
