I had one that I carried on occasion. Snappy little bugger, and it wouldn't feed well with a fully loaded mag. Ran perfect with a -1 mag tho. It was a good shooter, and plenty accurate.

I carried mine cocked and locked, hammer back safety up.

If you have to pull the trigger to get the hammer to lower on a loaded chamber, then no.

Never pull a trigger unless you are on target or you have checked, rechecked and rechecked that it is unloaded and will not negligently discharge a round.

Gosh. I lower the hammer all the time on my 1911's, my Firestars, and, yes, my little orphan .380 Llama. You just have to be careful. And be sure it's not pointed at anything.

Safe maybe. Wise no. Cocked and locked would be my choice. They were designed to run on hardball so you may have to do some work to get it to shoot HP reliably. That may not be a bad thing after looking at ballistic gel tests. Fiochi is the only one I have found after looking at a lot of tests that will penetrate more than 8"-10".

Anywhere you point, you are pointing at something.

If the firearm has a decocker, then I'm okay with it. If there is not a decocker, there will always be the "first" time for everything. I would not want my first time to be an ND.

Only owed (briefly) one gun that ever had a decocker. First time that sucker dropped the hammer I about **** myself. If I get too nervous about dropping the hammer (the old fashioned way) on a loaded chamber, I'll just take a shot of whiskey first to steady my nerves.
