    hi all,

I'm doing a translation from english to italian regarding a firearm chronograph, and because of my ignorance in the matter at hand I'm stuck with a sentence :D

"To quickly switch from shot velocities to statistics with large shot strings, and vice versa, hold down the "Review" button."

would you say that "large" is referred to the shots or to the strings? thanks to anyone for the help =)

so the adjective is referred to the strings and not to the shots? (just to make sure I've understood correctly)

Shot strings. Each string saves the velocities of the shots fired and by hitting the review button, you can go back to review the statistics that have been saved on each string.

The "Review" button will cause the ProChrono Digital to display the previously fired shot velocity within the current string. On each press of this button, the previous shot velocity will be displayed, until the user reaches the first shot in the string. At this point, pressing the "Review" button again causes the display to begin showing the statistics. The display will cycle through High Velocity, Low Velocity, Average Velocity, Extreme Spread, and Standard Deviation. Finally, pressing it again will reposition the display to show the last recorded shot velocity in the string.

Welcome to the forum, when you get a few minutes stop be the introduction section and tell us a bit about you.

Definitely referring to strings, as in multiple shots...It seems to be describing how to review the stored information of previous shots, not the last one displayed on the readout.

"large strings of shot" not "strings of large shot"
