light weight scope

Have decided on a Tikka T3Lite .270 but am wondering a bout a light weight scope; see all kinds of scopes out there but few of them say how much they weigh! The Tikka comes with mount/rings. Any ideas?

Are the rings that are included 1 inch rings or 30mm. What kind of mount system does it have; weaver, leupold, picatinny, etc..?
Thats kinda a coincidence; I live at the foot of the good ole Big Horns on the west slope. My two personal scopes and my favorites are a 4.5-14x40 and 6.5-20x40 Leupolds in the LR Side Focus Fine Hair scope. When comparing it to the average scope weight of 12 ounces, the extra 3.5 and 4 ounces extra respectively is gained in the optic clarity and ease of use. The weight difference between these and a true lightweight scope at say 11.3 ounces (fixed 6 power) is not much. To save some weight when packing in take only one pair of dry socks instead of two to lighten the extra scope load. Hahahaha... Weight savings when it comes to the scope does not bother me much. I weighed both my mains guns that I carry and with gun, scope, butler creek covers, bipod, sling, stock shell holder full of nine rounds, magazine full weigh about 12 and 14 pounds. There heavy but they dont move when you shoot them. With a Tikka T3 Mt at 6 then one of the above scopes and a sling you should only weigh in at 8 1/2 pounds or so.
