The rear stock is removable to make it pistol grip only.

The Duct tape is to just keep the rubber butt pad on there. It always falls off.

    I've got two, a Mossberg 500 (top) and a Remington 870 (bottom):

    Both work flawlessly.

Thanks, but I can't take too much credit because most of it is a factory camo. job. It started its life out as a turkey gun with a ported long barrel & xtra full accu-choke. I still have the long barrel for it. When I converted it to HD duty all I had to do was paint a camo. job on the 18.5 " barrel I bought so it would match the rest of the gun. It did come out pretty good.

BTW, I'm picking up my (new to me) Mossberg 9200 next Tuesday. I have a Choate 9 round mag extension and a TruGlo red dot sight ordered for it as well as an imp. cyl. choke.

The 24" barrel will be a bit unwieldy indoors, but it ought to be a monster around the perimeter.

Yup, the flowers show the sensitive side of home defense. Kind of like asking "Do you prefer burial or cremation?" after racking the slide. :D

I kind of always liked asking "Are you an organ donor?"
