As you've seen, my new 1911. It's stock for the time being. Soon to change after I put some rounds down range.

I'm always happy to post a pic of my Sistema. Manufactured in 1959, rebuilt in 2009.

Kart Nat'l. Match barrel and throat polished
Grieder precision trigger & trigger job
    lowered & flared ejection port
beavertail grip safety with memory bump
    Commander style hammer
    flat mainspring housing
    extended slide stop & safety
Wilson Combat low profile/non snag sights
refinished by CCR in "House Black"
    slimgrips by Esmerelda

I probably forgot something, but you get the idea.

Love it! I've put about 150rds down the pipe and the only issues have been FTF with the 8rd mag. Probably gonna get a higher powered spring and see if that cures it

CA, that thing is beautiful man, love those grips!

Here's my bedside, go-to 1911...a Kimber Pro TLE II. I just learned how to fully take it down to the frame. Love it!

    My Favorie 45s!

#1. Rock River Arms Inc. Elite Commando (Later known as the RRA Pro Carry)
    * It shoots a 1 inch group at 50 Yards from the Rest! 4.5" Barrel.
The most accurate pistol I have followed by the Colt/RRA Custom
    below

#2. A Colt Lightweight Commander customized by Rock River Arms
The only thing that is Colt on the Pistol is the Frame and Slide and
both were custom fitted by the Rock River Arms Armorers.

I've been a 1911 fan for many, many years. Sniper, I wish I could find a 1911 by RRA. Those are some nice guns.
