I have a.45 caliber single action revolver made by A. Uberti. It is an 1873 model. My ammunition is Winchester Super X 45 Colt 225 Gr. Silvertip HP. Is it legal for deer hunting in Nebraska? There seems to be some disagreement regarding its muzzle velocity. I know it would drop a deer at 30-40 yards easily. I called the Department of Natural Resources and the person I spoke to told me it was legal, but he did not verify his opinion. How would you advise me? Use it, don't use it, or seek another opinion from an agency official? The person I spoke to said the game warden "does not use a chronograph anyway."
