K got my bench today and mounted my press this evening only to notice the channel in the ram does not line up with the groove for the primer plate. Is this normal? Or do I have to send it back?
That is how it is suppose to be. Watch some Youtube videos and you will see. The primer arm sits in that slot at an angle.
Thanks. question 2 lol. Why is it hard to seat a primer? I am reloading lake city cases that where reloaded 1 time and crimp ring removed. I set 3 primers and all 3 where stubborn as heck. Do I need to try to reswage the pockets?
that doesnt look correct to me...mine sits looking straight out. The primmers should seat with only minor resistance...so i would try redoing the primer pocket. This doesnt show it well because the ram is down...but i think you can get the gist of it.
Well whatever the issue with it being off is it is working fine I just now have to re-swage all the lake city stuff.
