    Hello everyone

I am getting into shotshell reloading and would like to know if anyone might know of a used Lee Load-All for 12-gauge that is in good working condition?

Also, anyone have any opinion of using reclaimed shot for practice shooting, and if favorable, know of good sources?

And finally, any recommendations for or against shotshell primer brands?

    Thanks!

The Load All is inexpensive enough new. Reclaimed shot from Rotometals has worked well for me. Dove do not seem to notice the difference

Thanks for the replies - much appreciated. I found some new 7 1/2 shot on E-Bay, new but old bags. TWO bags For $13 - thought it worth to get and look at.

What do you all recommend for primers and powder?

Absolutely - reloading guides for amounts and types is essential and I plan on cross-checking several sources in making loads. My question, poorly worded, was meant to ask if there were certain brands of powder and primers that folks recommend to use or stay away from. I will only be reloading 12 gauge 2 3/4 shells for trap and skeet practice.

Primers matter a little. They all work. I have used Winchester, CCI, and Cheddite with equal results.

Pet load; 16.4 gr of Red Dot, 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2 shot in a WAA white wad. Kills dove, quail and clay pidgeons with dramatic regularity.

I like green dot for low recoil loads for my 28 ga. I use Blue Dot to load magnum loads for turkey and coyote. Lead shot magnum shells are crazy expensive at the gun shop. Then you have to run all over town to find the shot size you want.

Due to the powder shortage I have been using IMR800 lately.

Thanks for the info, Robocop et.al. I very much appreciate it. I found a Lee Load All for $48 free shipping on Amazon, and have the shot. Now to find powder and primers.....
