    Yahoooo!

I'll be purchasing a warmer season carry in the next few weeks. Looking at the LCP, PF9, PM9, and soon to be released Sig Sauer P290....but this may knock them all down a peg. With the success of the LCP, I might be a little less sceptical of this than the new P290...especially since the P290 looks like it might have P250 bloodlines.

But lookign at the specs, this is considerably bigger than the LCP...not like it's a cheaper Rohrbaugh or something.

After the recall the LCP.380 had when new on the market.....I think I'll wait to see if they have any recalls on this one before I decide...Looks to be very small for a 9mm. Also looks to be very nice and slim.....

It won't replace my Kahr CW-9 anytime soon. The only LC9 benefit is the sights.

It looks good. I will have to check it out when it is in the gun stores. I might trade my LCP in on one.

    LC9
    Sig 290
Kel Tec has been out for a while
I wonder if this will cut into the sales for the SR9c. I don't see enough of a difference to sell an SR9c and pick one up, but it is a good step up from the 380

Handle it at the store and make sure it will fit how you want to carry it. The LC-9 is bigger than my CW-9 and I don't feel comfortable putting my CW-9 in my pocket. (Front pants pocket) I can do that easily with the LCP. The only practical pocket-9s are the Kahr PM-9 and the Rorbagh R9. (IMHO) Both are $$$$$$.

Damn, I like the look of this

Is it actually available now, or just announced?

My next purchase is going to be a small warm weather carry gun, and this just made the short list

Yes, this is going to be the trend of carry guns in the coming years. The success of the 380's has been nothing but great for the gun manufacturers and the next step is for them to make a smaller and more powerful gun. I am in favor for smaller more powerful guns for self defense carry. Smaller, lighter and more powerful is the future of the gun manufacturing business.
