Did this carving on my sons Gamo Whisper. Now he needs to pratice so he can hit something with it.
That is great!
You should be proud, that is so nice. BEAUTIFUL
That's a GREAT carving! you should think about doing it professionally.
Very nice. I'd like a closer view if possible.
Excellant!! Do you have any more examples of your work?
I agree with Bear, you should consider doing this professionally.
Very nice work!
I agree with everyone who said you should do it professionally! I'd certainly pay for it!
Thanks for all the nice complements. I did this for a living for 28-30 years but now I just do it once in a while so I don't loose the ability. Don't think I could make a living by carving anymore especially at todays economy. Too old and slow anymore. If anyone is interested I will put my home page up to look at.

Very nice work. Can I assume you are powercarving most of this? And you're right about the economy. I am a carver too, have done some gunstocks, but prefer the woodspirits and birds and such. You should try doing some carving on the end of a deer antler. That's pretty interesting.
That is very nice & very suitable for that rifle.
Tango should get one with the dramatic woodchuck.
Very nice work!!!
Pen set in Elk antler burr
You have quite a talent, almost a gift even. Very nice work.
If you go looking for carving patterns check out the " Leather Carving " places. Though somewhat similar there is MORE detail in the leather patterns than the wood patterns and you can use or leave out what you want or don't want to use. I've done both and really prefer the " Leather Patterns" .
