My friend and i have a bet going .. He says that you adjust the laser to the same point as you're aiming at.... I thought you couldn't adjust it that way.. because at different distances the trajectory for the laser would change accordingly.
Am i correct ?? Don't you actually align the laser to shoot a couple inches below where your aiming ??
I was going to buy a laser for my S&W sigma... but i'm questioning it now.
Any insight would be great....Thanks

Instead of buying a laser which will give your position up in a second (I'm positive everyone will agree with me on that), buy a light instead.

If your hellbent on a laser  get a light/laser combo.

how does a laser give up your position? and a laser is best for those times you cant line up your sights also called "point shooting". but to answer the initial ? you sight the laser for a designated range for rifles, for pistols its mainly just an indicator for being on target

A beam of laser light is stright. The path your bullet will travel is not stright it is curved. If you sigh in the laser to the set distance then the sights bullet and laser should all line up. Of the ct grips you can adjust them to POA at a given distance.

If you are going to use them I would set them for 7 or 10 yards for a SD HD gun.
