Let's see what ya' got.
ESEE-5 it's my first ESEE, and it's built like a truck........ I'm just getting started with edged weapons....
That's a beauty. It says Randall's Adventures or something. Is it a Randall?
Thank you.... Well, I think this link can explain it better that I can.... and will take up less bandwidth here....
ESEE Knives - Knives By Maker
I wish I had that knife and you had a feather in your butt!!
Thanks Jay. I googled ESEE and got a bunch of info. Formerly RAT Cutlery. They seem to be excellent quality knives.
Here's a few.
My favorite and most expensive, but worth every dime!
The Microtech Combat Troodon D/A Dagger OTF Knife, Two-Tone Fully Serrated one side.
Scary sharp, smooth operating with a audible conformation to the operator that it's ready to rock (similar to that ephemeral recognition of peril when a pump gun racks) and no, you can not stab someone from the closed position.
Weight: Aprox 5.8 oz
Blade Material: S30V
Handle Material: 6061 T6 Aircraft Aluminum
It's named after the Troodon (TROH-o-don) dinosaur. Troodon is Greek for "wounding tooth". Yea, that works!
Very nice Cane.
Bought this recently cheap and cheerful and really useful.
Randy Porter frontier bowie:
These are my fixed blade. Not so expensive or nice, but they work for what I need them.
Here's my folders. I really like my old USA made buck and the new Kershaw. I just bought that Boker last year and it wasn't meant for work. I can't keep the pocket clip on it and I'm tired of fooling around with it. I've had that Gerber for many years too and it hasn't seen much work at all.
Just some quick pics from my phone.
Nice Cane, and yours too, Davy.....very nice Goju... I picked this up last fall... it's got three really sharp edges.... 2Hawks... out of Missouri...
Very nice 'hawk Jay.
5" Ka-Bar, Mora, Uncle Henry Bear Paw, HK/Benchmade Nitrous Stryker (EDC), Baby Buck skeleton folder.
ESEE Izula with micarta handles
CRKT Stiff K.I.S.S.
A couple old Bucks
A pair of Spyderco folders
A Estwing hatchet...
...and a POS SOG hatchet.
I'm prepping for the PAW.
Thanks and........would that be a Jayhawk?
No sir, he's in Seymour, MO..... young apprentice that took over after his tutor passed away. The young man does fine work.....
