Does anyone know the maximum pocket knife - blade length that it is legal to carry in texas or other states?

The Texas Penal Code Title 10, Chapter 46, Section 46.01(6)(A) defines an illegal knife as a knife witha blade over five and one half inches.

So 5 1/2" and under is OK.

I believe that TN it cant be any longer than four inches.

I carry a Cold Steel Ti Lite VI daily here in Alabama, I haven't checked to see what the legal max length is but I can slice the hell out of a tomato!

in VA im pretty sure that is 3.5inches
