does anyone have any experience with the kimber 8400 sereies of rifles?
What are you looking to know, share, explain?
I had a Kimber Montana 8400 for several years in .300 WSM and I just recently sold it. It was a great rifle, very accurate from the box and a pleasure to carry and shoot. Well worth the money. The ONLY reason I sold it was that I'm trying to downsize my collection and this gun and my Remington Custom Shop AWR .300 Win Mag were dupes as far as use, and performance. The Remington edged out the Montana so the Kimber had to go but I might be picking another in another caliber in the future. I also have a Model 84 in 7mm-08. One of my favorite rifles ever. That one is NEVER geting sold.
I'm looking to know how accurate, and balanced these rifles are. I was really looking at the kimber 8400 stainless Kimber > Rifles > Model 8400 > Classic Stainless . I was also wondering how tough the stocks are, is the wood soft or harder like the remington700 bdl?
