I have owned a Kimber Crimson Pro-Carry II, for exactly one month. Over this time period I've put 200 rounds through it, and cleaned it very well after both outings. The barrell is showing rust all over. Help? Advice?

Even a stainless steel gun will rust in the right conditions. Get a oily rag & wipe the barrel until all the rust is gone. You will have to be careful & check the barrel for rust often from now on. Could it be you were carrying it in a damp, moist place? A sweaty pocket on a humid day will rust many guns...

I've heard this from a couple of people. I've had mine for a while now, about 800rds down range, and no rust with regular cleanings. I'm expecting it to rust to pieces and fall apart anyday now though.

What ammo were you shooting? If you bought one of the deals of getting used GI ammo, some of that can be corrosive.

Read the link shihan posted, I started that thread and I ended it.

I would clean the weapon and scrub the barrel with a nylon brush. Then oil it well before putting it back together.
