Nearly all my deer hunting is with a muzzleloader.

    Gun: .50 Encore Muzzleloader
    Scope: 4X Zeiss
Bullet: 300 Grain .452 XTP Magnum
Powder: 120 grains of Black MZ
    Distance: 120 yards.
    Attitude: Broadside

Was in a stand looking down a long trail when this buck came out at about 120 yards distance and stopped. Deer went <15 yards after being shot.

There is a bumper crop of pecans at our deer lease and the buck was very fat.

    Congrats on the buck.

Is that one of those truck mounted poles that can be used to clean and or load a deer?

Great deer! Stupid question...does this mean your hunting season is over or can you still hunt one with a regular rifle?

Deer gun season opens on 18 November for two weeks. i could legally kill another buck in gun season. We also have a holiday doe season in late December. We are limited to two bucks per year.

5 deer so far on our 206 acre farm. Three bucks, two does. One scored 157 (archery), The other two bucks were eight points and eleven points. Rut is on in N.E. Missouri. Counted 17 in a field next to our farm at one time. Must be a huge acorn crop as we had two in our yard pigging out.

we have our feeder out on the pipeline right of way, and there are lots of deer tracks and they are eating the corn. we put it out several months ago, but just in the last month or so they started eating the corn. i think they are also getting fat on all the acorns as well.

Looked like it. Great job building it.
I've seen several times I'd have loved to have one on my truck but it only has the bumper hitch instead of a receiver.
Something I plan to change before next fall.
    Nice buck BTW.
Son took one buck first day. I took another day before yesterday.
    Now it's meat hunting.
Try to put 8 to 10 deer in the freezer for winter.
