Anyone shoot/have a Kahr 9mm? Im looking to purchase another pistol soon. One that is easy to conceal, since i will be carrying. Ive been window shopping and I like the Kahr 9mm. I would shoot it but none of the ranges around here have it for rent. If you have any other pistols, compact, that would be good for concealment your two cents are reckoned with.

I've got the Kahr PM9 with Talon grips on it and I love it. I use it quite often at the range, and as a back up for my SR9c.

I think the movie would've had more irony if she had used a .22 RG revolver, but that was a beautiful pistol that actually made her hands look less tiny.

I've had a Kahr PM 9 for 3 years now. Originally bought it as a "hot weather" CCW and it fits the bill perfectly.

Best CCW gun I've ever owned.

I've been impressed with the PM9s I've shot. They're tiny, but handle relatively well given the size. I think it's the best micro 9mm you can land under $800. They also have some more affordable guns such as the CM9, which I have yet to handle or shoot. Other Kahrs increase a bit in size.

I have a Kel-Tec PF9. It costs about half what the PM9 does, and accordingly it looks and feels quite a bit cheaper. It's accurate enough inside of 15yds and has performed flawlessly for me. Very light and compact, with a respectable 7+1 capacity.

Also worth exploring: Kahr CM9, Ruger LC9, KelTec P-11, Walther PPS...and Glock/XD type subcomps if the thickness doesn't dissuade you.

I've got a PM9 and a MK9. Just traded my CW9 since the other two replaced it. I've had good luck w/ all four Kahrs I've bought (P380 as well). Not all owners will praise these guns; small platform, short recoil = some issues.

Perhaps I was lucky or perhaps it is because I followed the prep and lube suggestions at Kahrtalk:

Proper prep of a new kahr - KahrTalk Forums

Kahr Lube Diagram - KahrTalk Forums

Scroll down on the second thread for the diagram.

I love these guns; mine are dependable and accurate. Very soft recoil. Good luck and enjoy yours.

What is the difference between the PM9 and CM9?

I have relatively big hands, how hard is it to hold?

You will only get one 6 round mag, it doesn't have the fancy rifling, and the engravings on the slide aren't as fancy either. Well, that, and a $200 price difference.

I have a PM9 and I love it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either. It's easy to grip, but you will want to get a grip extender so your pinky has something to grab. I got it for mine and it fits my hand perfectly. Then again my hands aren't small, but I don't know if I would call them big either.

I only use two fingers when I grip a subcompact firearm. I've put Talon Grips on my Kahr PM9, and it makes it so much more shootable.

    Kahr Model Spec's attached

Oops, won't attach a word doc.

Google Kahr Firearms and go to CM9, the specifications page will line up the PM9 VS CM9 differences.
