Kaboom With A Caliber .50 BMG Rifle

    About two weeks ago a .50 caliber rifle blew up at a firing range near Houston, TX. The lugs sheared off the bolt, the charging handle sheared off and the bolt hit the shooter in the neck/shoulder area. The cartridge case separated.

    The gun was a Vulcan brand rifle chambered for .50 BMG.

    Don't know how Vulcan is still around. They make crap. People bash them justly on the Internet and someone is still willing to try them
    out on a rifle with that heavy a round.
