    Has anybody tried or know if you can reload nickel plated brass?

    Yes you can has been done for as long as there has been nickle plating.

    I reload the nickel.You need to keep a close eye on the casings the nickel will start to flake off.you won't get as many reloads out of them but you can doit just watch for splitting

    Ok thanks. I will most likely never do it,nickel plated isn't what I usually use at the range or ever use at the rang for that mater. I just wasn't paying attention to what mag I was grabbing and it wasn't till it was empty I realized it was loaded with critical defiance. So I just thought I would ask.

    at one time, all .38 Super casings were nickeled. Like the man said, watch for splits at the mouth, but they reload fine.

    I actually prefer the nickled cases. They clean up nicer, are easier to find on the ground and stay pretty over time. If you don't want to load them, send em to me.
