How many guns have changeable grips? With all these poly guns these days... maybe wheel guns I could see. Just seems like the last thing I'd think of changing on any of my guns. Though I do love soft rubberized textured grips!

thats not really changing a grip to me, that's adding an accessory.

With 1911s it's actually a compete swap. I too got a talon rubberized wrap on my kahr, but don't consider that changing a grip.

lots of other pistols have replaceable grips, just that the 1911 platform has been around longer than most of the others.

    revolvers need love too!:D

Grips are one of those things that makes the handgun "yours"

There must other brands (Uh, sorry for you Glock fans).

I Got custom cherry wood on my phoenix hp22a. Special medallion grips for the Firestars. Not really something I'm "into", but fun to personalize nonetheless.

Nice and true. The NAA guardian series has tons of options. They include a booklet advertising all sorts of nice wood accent grips, etc.

Almost all metal guns have exchangeable grips, few polymers do.

As a BHP, CZ 75, and alloy Sig fan...I'm certain there are plenty of non-1911s out there with killer custom grips. Revolvers too.
