How do you guys feels about the Just Right .45 carbine? Are there any other .45 carbine choices you can think of with high capacity mags, besides the Kriss Vector?

If one doesn't get too hung up on High Capacity:
Beretta CX4. Reliable, accurate & fun.

The 9, 40, and 45 are all 'pistol' calibers and gain very little when the bbl is increased in length over about 10 inches. BUT if you simply want a longer sight radius and a shoulder fired 'long' gun they will work for CQB. The 357, 41, and 44 Magnums are much better performers with the 16 inch bbls.:)
The 5.56 can do anything they can do and do it better PLUS you add RANGE TO YOUR options.;)

Pistol caliber carbines have their place in the scheme of things. It's nice to get a case of ammo for under $300 that fits all your guns.

Pistol caliber carbines don't have as loud of a report as even a 223. Timid shooters are more likely to embrace a pistol caliber carbine. There is nothing intimidating about a pistol caliber carbine.

I sure wouldn't feel unprepared if I had to defend my home with a pistol caliber carbine.

I would look at Hi Point and Beretta carbines. I have never shot a Just Right carbine. I have no opinion on the Just Right. I have shot both the Beretta and the Hi Point. They both are reliable and accurate. The Beretta uses regular Beretta pistol magazines. The Hi Point is priced to sell and it has a lifetime warranty.

I know! I have had two of them in my life, both taken from weapons caches in RVN. I really enjoyed shooting them, at the tax payers expense!!!:D
