Earlier this week I got my CCW permit in the mail. But I ask myself, "why?" GA law requires a holster even with a CCW permit. I don't own a concealment holster. My primary job (EMS) does not allow firearms carry, my other job (delivery driver for an auto parts store) frowns upon firearms carry, and my other "occupation" is a student where carry is forbidden. When I'm not at work/school I'm at home sleeping or driving to work/school/home. Yet I felt the need to get a CCW license at a cost of $80. My next day "off" I plan on heading out to my local gun shop to pick up a IWB holster for my Sig, but I still don't know when I'm going to actually be able to carry without the risk of getting in trouble.

Indeed, you are a busy boy. I feel that it's a better piece of mind to have, than to have not. You just never know out there. Take a look at the Crossbreed Super tucks. ;)

Congratulations. Even if you can't carry all the time it is good to have.
Can you carry it holstered in the car?

Wish we had the option here in LA
