I just picked up a Sig Pro 2340 and I was wondering how good they run? I own a SP2022 and find it to be a good shooting gun. I was just curious as to how these first Gen Sig polymer guns run? I know sig started with 2340, then the 2009, and now the 2022. Its a very great condition gun, still has the blue paint on the the recoil spring and no wear marks to speak of. It has a very low serial number, of the the nine character serial number the first five are SP000. The last four come in at under 4300 without getting specific. The serial number on my much newer SP2022 is something like 24B039000 (not the exact number but close).
While this is an older pistol it appears to be better designed. I purchased it with the intent on re-selling or bartering/ trading for some ammo but I find myself not all to wanting to now part with it. Im not a collector and have no real need for it since I have the 2022. Anyways, what do you guys think of it.
