This is the first time I enjoyed a doctor's visit. You see I am a big guy, a big guy, did I happen to mention that I'm a big guy?

Well as a big guy, I hate when tiny little women get on a scale in a supermarket and complain that they have to lose 5 pounds when I have to lose a hundred. Then when I go to the doctor's office the first injutice is that torture device otherwise known as a scale. I believe that this device was invented simply to remind me that my eating health food has done nothing but annoy me for the last 5 months.

Well, today I went and it turns out that I lost 48 pounds since my last visit!

    48 pounds

The only thing I changed is that I jog with my dog 2 miles every two days instead of one mile. I can't believe this worked.

I had a great doctor's appointment and just wanted to share :)

Whenever I lost weight when I needed to, I would go to Sears or something and look at the weights. Go pick up a 45 pound hand weight and check out what you have lost. It TOTALLY puts it in perspective. Motivates you to keep it off too.

    Congrats!

You my friend have learned something most people can't. THROW THE SCALE AWAY! People are obsessed with the number that is their weight when other things are far more important.
Keep up the good work. Do you feel differently since you've upped your workout?

I have found that the 2 miles has gotten easier over the last two months.
After another month I might try to do more, but I don't want to rush it.

The sad thing is that my shepherd, Lady, is not even tired when we get home; she is such a show off. ;)
