www.msn.com had a poll asking the same question, then followed up by asking if you completed your 2018 taxes.

(Hint: 2018 taxes have to be filed by 15 April 2019. We are coming up to the dead line for filing 2017 taxes)

For procrastinators, I believe the deadline this year is April 17th...
"The IRS will begin accepting tax returns on Jan. 29, with nearly 155 million individual tax returns expected to be filed in 2018. The nation’s tax deadline will be April 17 this year – so taxpayers will have two additional days to file beyond April 15."

For REAL procrastinators, you can always file an extension. The request for extension, though, is still due April 17th. Did that for years...

Had some very complicated tax situations for several years, tried Kiplinger's (H&R) and it didn't address the complications, so finally just went to a CPA tax preparer. Was expensive, but I was flustered. Similar (and even more complex) challenges the next few years, got more back than the tax programs indicated, and finally just bit the bullet and have them do my taxes every year. Takes about 30 minutes to compile the necessary documents (set aside in mail for the previous two months or so), drive to them and spend about 30 minutes with them (after the first session), give them my credit card, and I'm done!

    Worth every penny to me.

When I was working in the Pentagon, I'd go through at least a gallon of coffee a day as the natural course of things, and drink coffee all day long. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on meetings and briefings.

Moving out of the Pentagon dropped me down to about a half-gallon, usually, all day long. Over the course of about two years, that dropped to about a quart, through no intent of my own (just the difference of availability). It stayed that way for several years and continued when I started telecommuting.

Since retirement, it is about 3-4 cups a day, in the AM before 0800, and that's it. It is a form of habit and a time for quiet relaxation/reflection as I awaken fully. Have been fighting activating a coffee pot in my shop: I just don't need it - or want it. I generally sleep well now, so there is that...

Occasionally enjoy hot tea or hot cocoa when it is cold. That suits me well.

Back when I was doing my own taxes at home, it would be nothing to consume a gallon. Having someone else do that cured me of that...

It's good that I can afford having someone do my State/Federal taxes for me. Reduced coffee consumption is just one of the perks. Eventually, things will simplify themselves and I'll be able to do my own taxes - should I choose.

    We'll see. I've gotten spoiled.

My life is so simple now, I can do the free online filing. No more quarterly bs!
It takes longer to drink a cup of coffee than to do my taxes! :D

but at least one pot a day, and some days at least two pots. i have a 12 cup coffee maker right now.

    Yes I like coffee!
When I am home and the weather is decent enough I like setting on the Front Porch in a Rocking Chair having a couple of cups of coffee while watching the wildlife and reading my fishing, hunting and shooting magazines. When it is cold outside or I have to stay in I will have several more during the day.
    Taxes Filed
Boat I pay quarterly and they still want a bunch more at the end of the year!
However this year it was considerably less than last year when filing. So I guess I should not complain! But sometimes makes you wonder if it is worth having a business! Since they blow our tax money like it is water over a dam. If it was all for important needed purposes I would not complain at all!;) But we all know the truth!
