the meal is served in the morning does not make it breakfast unless it has eggs and bacon.
I disagree. I prefer lunch type foods for breakfast. Leftover pizza, chili, Italian beef, etc. Even biscuits and gravy doesn't contain eggs or bacon.
I disagree also, the term breakfast is exactly as stated, the morning meal is the breaking of an overnight fast, hence the term breakfast.
You must have grits, with soft banjo music in the background...
I don`t know, I am more of a hot cereal & toast with butter kind of person !.............
If it ain't got coffee with it, it ain't breakfast!
I am with Winds. I am not a fan of breakfast foods at all.
Coffee is breakfast. I'll think about food once my blood caffeine has reached therapeutic levels.
How can you not like bacon??? That just ain't right!!!!!!
I love breakfast foods.
Bacon, eggs, muffins, omelets, biscuits and gravy, sausage, cereal, pancakes, its all delicious.
I had a turkey and provolone sandwich on an onion roll with pesto mayo for breakfast today, but like Doc said, not until my BCC (blood caffeine concentration) was right first!
I'm not a huge fan of 'breakfast' foods anyway, but can't stand them in the morning. I would rather have pizza at 8am and biscuits and gravy for dinner.
Oh yie yie...................
Bacon and eggs.............Bacon wrapped smoked oysters, steak an eggs whit bisquits, oysters on the half shell, and a gallon of damn good bloody mary whit pickled okra extra hot sauce. Now thats Breakfast......................And pickled penguin tongue on da side...............
Where did I say I didn't like bacon? I DO like bacon.........very much. I just am not too fond of eggs. Bacon cheddar hamburger......BLT.....even just a plain ole bacon sandwich. I love bacon. I was just sayin' breakfast does not have to be bacon and eggs.
Careful, there, Buster.
Well when i have pancakes, eggs, and bacon at night does that make it breakfast jsut because I like to have them for supper some times?
When we went through the Med I enjoyed trying different cultural meals. I enjoyed fresh fruit, goat cheese on toast, or yogurt. But that could have been because fresh fruit and dairy products had been kind of scarce after a few months under water.
Mmmmm . . . bacon & eggs . . . penguin bacon & penguin eggs . . . mmmmM!
What the hell is wrong with you?
Bacon & eggs is bacon & eggs!
I did not see the word "cereal" in any of the posts.
If I am served "cereal" for breakfast, there better be some eggs and bacon next to it.
I said cereal.
