Seize the carp, JD! Don't trust in luck, use the Blackberry. Benning is working on getting the answers.

You'll do fine, JD. I have all the confidence in the world in you. You are a smart man. But just in case.........I wish you good luck anyway. ;) Prayers for your success, too.

I had posted in a couple of other threads, but I did not pass.

The class focused mainly on parroting and memorizing a very difficult diagram called the brain dump. I did about 30 brain dump practices during 4 days to the point of losing feeling in my left thumb, perhaps also carpal tunnel is finally setting in.

Studied what I was instructed to study and read and re-read all the stuff dude had us highlight in this 2" thick manual. Had food delivered to my room two nights of the four so I could just practice and read the material, so it's not like I was taking it lightly.

Got into the test and got my doors blown off! I was "proficient" in 2 of 6 categories and "below" in the other four. The brain dump helped with about 3-5% of the actual test, so that was a giant waste of time.

I talked to one of the guys in class who was pretty quite the whole time after the test. He wasn't involved much in the classroom discussions, was frequently late coming back from breaks and didn't seem to be taking the class to seriously, but if called for an answer, he was usually close or correct. He didn't do any brain dump for the test and didn't do any of the homework, but passed the final test.

All he did for the week was take on line practice tests and read the reasons why he missed a question. That was it! He went out just about every night, enjoyed the town, after doing a couple of online chapter tests for what we covered that day. Thursday night he did four practice tests and felt he was set.

Turns out he was right.

Soooooooo, I have 30 days to retake the test for free. Guess what study procedure I will be adopting.

JD (leaving Houston in 25 minutes!!)

Oh man JD, sorry to here that. :(

On the bright side it wouldn't have done you any good after today anyway. :D

Do you have to fly back to Houston to retake the test?
