I have a Remington 270 Cal, model 7600 that will not eject the shells. I have taken it to several people that work on guns, one said they replaced the ejector pin. The gun continues to not eject the shells. Any ideas on what I could be?

Is the chamber dirty or pitted? Pitting can cause some severe extraction problems.
Is it actually failing to extract? If the extractor is not holding tight to the rim, you will get some problems.

I'm not familiar with the 7600, but common causes of ejection problems are carbon buildup in the chamber and extractor and worn extractor parts.

Those shells wouldn't be reloads would they? Is your extractor gouging the rims?

Basically the Remington model 7600 is the pump version of the 7400 semiauto rifles, and share many design features, including the weak extractor system. Replace the extractor. If that don't help, check chamber, if it requires polishing, the barrel is easily removable. If neither above suggestion helps, it sounds like you have an headspace issue.

Handyman: (1) Will it extract and eject a live round?
(2) If it will extract but not eject, is the round held in the bolt,
or does it drop inside the action?
(3) Does it do the same with an unfired cartridge as it does with a fired round?
