After a long week, you were finally able to get your projects finished. For the first time in months there is nothing waiting for you at work. It's now Saturday afternoon,...the beginning of a two week vacation with nothing to do but relax.

It's in the mid 70's as you sit on you back porch and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets you can remember. Just as you look over and see your kids playing at the back of the property a cool spring breeze kicks up and blows the smell of the pork ribs being smoked in your face.

You hear a car door close and you turn around to see your best friend walking up the driveway. You say "hi" and reach into the ice chest and remove two bottles of...(Insert your favorite beer)..........????

25 year old single malt, whichever distiller I have in the cabinet at the time (they are all good). Straight and Neat no ice or water.

You can pour two of those, mate. The ones from the Islay region are my favourite, the peaty flavour works really well with some cigars.

The Islay region single malts are a particular favorite of mine as well, the peaty smoky flavor makes it a perfect "sipping whisky"!

A man after my own heart...
Although i think I like the Shiner Black better than the regular.

I ususally enjoy Sam Houston or Jefferson very small batch bourbon, over ice in a pint glass with cherry coke.

    Ahhh the ol' blue ribbon...lol

I prefer New Belgium 1554 Black Ale or an Ice cold Fuller's Porter.

To you guys that don't drink, I have a lot of respect for you. I don't know why you don't drink, but if it is for the same reasons I don't dip anymore...I am proud, I know how difficult it can be.
