I found this stock for glocks:

Mako Collapsible Stock For Glock Pistols

It says it can be installed without any modification to the gun itself, so does that mean it would be legal without being an SBR?

from what i understand attaching a stock or a foregrip or both without first adding a 16"+ barrel turns a pistol into a sbr. so if you dont have the proper tax stamp you would be in violation.

it doesnt matter if its permanent. i could non-permanant attach a 10" ar15 upper to my AR15 and it would be a sbr and in violation if i got caught doing it.

stay away from things that violate or run the ragged edge of nfa law

Yeah, a lot of stuff I want is illegal, so I guess I'll just wait and cross my fingers til it's legal... yeah right (meaning i'll be crossing them for a long time, or probably til i'm dead)

Or you could just get the proper nfa paperwork and tax stamp...

Its not that onerous if its allowed in your state
