I'd pass for that price-defiantly can get something nicer for less. but I am also a fan on military weapons. Would defiantly prefer another brand, just didnt know if that was a diamond I should snag or not..
I owned a Taurus PT1911 and loved it.. took it to the range and it shot pretty great with zero problems.. posted about it on here and got nothing but hate about how it was a Taurus.. lolIthica 1911 A1 .45 ACP WWII for 1200.00? I want it, but it doesn't seem practical for my first 1911.. lol
Don't understand the story thing
I happen to know where you can get another one. Not sure on the price, I'll look back through some of my threads and see if I commented on it. It has either ivory or imitation ivory. Pretty good condition, not perfect. Is marked from (according to the shop owner) it was US issued, and then apparently recovered by British troops, marked by them, and then later given back to the US. I asked him about the lend/lease and if that had anything to so with it and he said he researched the markings and no, it wasn't a lend/lease gun. I know nothing, that's the story I got from the shop owner.canebrake said:I've got a 1944 Ithaca M1911A1 and wouldn't take $12,000 for it but that's just me.
