I wanna eventually add a Luger to my firearm collection, but I can't seem to find any less than $800. I just want a cheap (as in about $500-$600) one, that I will actually use. I don't want an authentic WWII bring back, just an aftermarket one from the 60s or 70s or so.

Man, good luck. There were a few repros. I think stoeger was the most reputable one. But even those are running 1K+ at the very least. If you get a good lead on any, please share.

Any "real" Luger is a collectors item and will command collectors prices. The only "aftermarket" Luger I know of was sold by Stoeger and did not have a terribly good reputation.

WWII Lugers are expensive. Parts guns cost more than $600 dollars. I expect you will pay over $1,200 dollars for a "Vopo" Russian pick up with the Nazi markings punched over.
These are DWMs the Artillery Models are very expensive. :)

The Post War Walther 9 MM Police pistols with alloy frames are designated Walther P-1 not P-38. That said, they are very fine shooter often dated to the 1980s. The upper is a P-38 WWII Spandau CYQ. The Lower is a P-1 Police Pistol 1985 with the steel take down pin.:)
