Is it difficult to put a new stock on a 22.magnum?

    Its an older marlin stainless barrel and synthetic stock. Im curious cause even though the gun shoots great the stock just feels wierd.

    what model? Most are a matter of 4 minutes to change.

    Mine only has one screw holding it on.

    I wouldn't think it would be much of a job. However, a new stock
    might cost more than the rifle is worth.

    Really? How much would a decent stock (syn or wood doesnt matter) cost?

    Again, what model.

    I have been looking here, http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/ For a stock for my 10-22. Most of them are around $100 but a stock can go up to several hundred depending on what you want.

    100$ huh. I will just keep the stock on it for that price. The gun still shoots great so it doesnt matter much. Thank you all for the info
