Can anyone tell me if the receiver covers are interchangeable for the AKs?

Yes they are, but beware of the cheaper chinese covers though. They lack the reinforcment ribs and dent very easy.

YUP, as previous fellow mentioned they should all fit, I like the Eastern European Ones with thinker Metal and Deeper reienforcement grooves, Tapco,. as well as K-var both carry them and they are relitivally cheap! My Maddi already had the better cover, but was scrated all to heck, so I replaced it with a Russian one back from Afganistan, good to have Buddies in the fild still? LOL
