My daughter wants to inlay some gemstones in the slide of her walther p22 pink platinum talo edition. Any thoughts like will the recoils knock them loose ...do I slap it down on the counter of my local day jewelers ...if they **** it up I'm I out a slide ...???

The P22 slide is zinc-not a metal that you want to do inlays on, nor do you want to disturb the surface finish.
