I sighted in my Howa 1500 rifle today and shot a very nice 3 round sub moa group. I am impressed with this rifle and it seems to hold up to it's reputation for accuracy. I also shot this rifle at the 18 inch gong placed out at 650 yards and was able to hit with no problem (once I figured out the elevation/windage hold over.

Optic used is Nikko Sterling 3.5x10x44 Scope with Illuminated Reticule. Rings were also Nikko Sterling and bases were offset Weaver. Ammo used was Federal 150 grain SP, temperature was about 80 degrees, and winds were half-value left to right (coming from my 8 o'clock position) at about 5-7 mph. Position was prone with rifle supported by bipod.

Nice shooting, Sarge. I have to agree with you about the Howa 1500. Mine is a 24" heavy barrel on an Axiom stock and it is a real tack driver if I do my part. I need to get it out and punch some holes soon. Been way too hot for a long time here, though.
