I think Andrew Jackson would have been a great guy to do some shooting with. :) With his American frontier back ground he would have been familer with the arms of his time.:)

Me I would go current. I would take Mr. Obama.

I would warm him up with some basic firearms safety Tango Stylz then work him from rimfire to centerfire. I would then end the day With some super fun FULL AUTO fire where he could shoot some water jugs with colored water (FLO Green or blue) Maybe toss in some tannerite through out the day.

I think I could convert him.....

Oh, believe me. You would convert him. It took less than that to convert me to guns.

What you described above is exactly what Hunter Joe and I did last week. Anyone who could resist that kind of fun is a dud.

I'd go with TR. Shooting at figures of opposing world leaders would be fun (as in The Wind and The Lion). Cape buffalo would be funner. I didn't agree with a lot of Teddy's political views, but he was a man who lived a man's life and didn't use his money to buy a cushy ride. Instead he bought the hard way to go because he thought it would be a challenge.

Ronnie Reagan, he's the straightest shooter I know.
We'd be shooting silhouette targets of Lenin, Breshnev, Gorbachov,.......

If I say what I'm really thinking, the men in the suits and shiny black shoes will visit me.

If you don't mind, I would like to join you to. I'd certainly have some questions about Viet Nam, too.
