    GAU 8 count?

I'd like my old man's Mauser (he sold it some time during his trip to rock bottom, and the Lord took him after he'd changed his life around, but before he could reclaim that beauty).

Actually, I'd rather have that than the tank-chainsaw.

    Me?

I'd take the new KRISS, Super V, 45 acp carbine, converted to full-auto, fitted with a silencer, and set up as an SBR with, at least, 8 extended magazines. ;)

Its a toss-up. Either the Barrett M107or the Browning M2 heavy machine gun. I've shot both, and I love both- But ammo is so insanely expansive!

One of every Mosin-Nagant made. Even the pistol and the Chinese type 53.

Ouside of that, a cattlemans carbine.

Too many to list, but the one currently on my mind is the Springfield M1A Socom. I could get one now if someone would just pay for new furniture, chain link fence, and a shed. O'well, one day maybe!

You're kind of in luck. Impact Guns is accepting orders for the civilian version. Although $1700 for a 13 round weapon is kind of high priced.

Then again, I spent more than that on my primary 1911.

    Naa! I'm just dreaming. :p

I already own far too many guns; and, besides, right now I ain't got that kind of money - Instead I've got a locking gas cap!

Word has it, though, that these things are very well made, and tightly put together. Want a personal opinion? (Well, I'll give it to you anyway!) :D I consider the KRISS SUPER V to be an ideal urban SHTF weapon.

Lots of fire power, easy to aim and shoot, able to be easily swung and fired from inside a vehicle, and even easier to hide underneath your arm in order to avoid becoming every urban sniper's principal, 'target-of-opportunity'.

(In other words the KRISS SUPER V meets everyone of FerFAL's criteria for what a perfect urban crisis weapon should be!) ;)

G21.45 - I concur, for what it's worth. I sat through the promotional stuff at SHOT '08 and handled both the military ( full auto ) and the civilian model and I very much like the feel, the weight, and the operation of the unit. With it being chambered in .45 cal, which I can share with my 1911's, I immediately fell in love with the unit. I think it's a great short range, ass kicking weapon that would serve you well, no matter the opponent ( Zombies, Foreign Armies, Renegade hungry civilians ).

I really like the unit, and it's so well made. The unit is "weighty", more solid, but not heavy, and it just feels well built. The fact that you can use the Glock mags is just a plus.

I am seriously considering adding one to the arsenal before, or around, tax time of next year. I really, REALLY like the fit, feel and features of the weapon.
