I believe I've found the kit I want to use. Now, I'd fold my own receiver, so that's why it's missing from the kit. But, besides that, is there any piece of machinery I need? The barrel is already pressed in this kit.
Please give me some feedback, I'd love to do this. :D

To fold your own receiver you will need a press, most start with one like this.
    http://www.harborfreight.com/12-ton-shop-press-33497.html
Then you will need a flat bending die like this, some builders make their own.

I see your barrel has not been removed that will take a Barrel Pin Tool like this to press it out.
Good luck because some of them can be a real pain to get out.
    http://www.gunthings.com/galil.htm
Next tool needed would be a trunnion drilling fixture, if you have a drill press you could try just lining up the rivet holes & doing it with out one but the rivet holes turn out better with the fixture. Here is two to choose from.

The next tool needed will be a spot welder to weld the lower rails in, it will also need a special lower tong, some builders rework the old tong & get it to work.

    http://ak-builder.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29794
After the rails are welded in you will start riveting & will need a trigger guard rivet jig.

At this point your are most likely thinking it would be easier for me to buy a receiver. Yes it would be easier to buy a receiver but you won't get away that easy, even a bought receiver will need to be riveted. Then you will need a riveting tool like one of these.
This one will do all the rivets except the trigger guard rivets.
    http://ak-builder.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29972
or the long rivet jig & short rivet jig here.

If you encounter any problems there will be extra steps and/or tools that are needed to complete your gun.
There are short cuts to doing a lot of this building and a lot of jig & fixtures that you could build your self, if you have the time and patience to do it yourself.
    Good Luck with your build!;)

I already have the press and dye.

Why would I need to remove the barrel?

The rivets need to be squeezed from the inside & it is much easier to drill the rivet holes with the front trunnion off the barrel.
What size press do you have?
After you press the barrel pin out you can use a 3/8"x 5" grade 8 bolt with one steel nut and one brass nut to remove the barrel.

Okay, thanks. I should have that size bolt, if not, I'll order one or something... Actually, because my family's full of metalworkers, we have a lot of equipment already. I have a 35k ton press. :D

I already know how to remove the barrel from the trunnion. (I hope I don't scratch the barrel :(). But, as far as the trunnion rivets go, I'm a little lost on that.

Remember if you can look at a picture and build your own fixtures that is money earned.
    Good Luck with your build.

As my first build, and considering the amount of money I'm pouring into this, I hope I don't screw up lol.

Take it slow & check everything 2 or 3 times before you do it, you will do fine.
That is why most builders say that it takes about 3 builds to break even $$ wise.
But you can't put a dollar amount on fun & experience.
The way I figure it is how much would a college course cost on AK building? Your first successful build will cost much less than that.
