I've only been to a couple of matches, but when done with a stage, you're required to remove the mag, show clear, and "drop the hammer" aka dry fire. I don't have a problem dry firing my Glock, M&P, or XD, but what about CZ's?

On guns similar to the CZ, what is permissible? Can you do a manual hammer drop (ease hammer down while pulling trigger), or is that a no-no? Is a decocker model better in this regard? Will dry firing hurt a CZ?

You have to drop the hammer, which proves that there isn't a live round in the chamber.

With decocker models, you still have to squeeze the trigger.
