ibex hunt succesfull

    few monts ago i was ging to hunt boar , i even did it on the topic while we were hunting it wasn´t succesfull so we took a break and hadded out for the higher mountain tops to hunt some ibex .. my buddy shot the ibex at 150yards at a snowy ridge ibex weigth was 225lbs here are some picuters of the hunt and landscape , i am going to mount it!     Pretty cool. I had to look up what the hell an IBEX is as I had never heard of such a creature.

    Apparently it is a species of goat that lives in the European Alps.

    Learned something new today.

    And thanks for the great pictures.

    Yes , they are good to eat .
    The meat is a bit hard , but very tastefull .You can eat most animals when cooked:)

    Guy's here don't understand that Mutton and goat are eaten like beef and chicken here. I sell allot of Goat to Caribbean restaurants and African stores. Seriously spicey stuff!

    JP,I take offense to that statement!!! Just kidding.
    Those of us that were raised in the country,grew up eating sheep,and goats.I just never became fond of goat milk or cheese.
