Can you tell me how to make a safe 38/357/9mm load that I can shoot in Grandpaws 1863 single shot derringer?? Do you weigh the powder-or just fill up the case?? Can I use 63gr. bullets for light loads, and 472gr. bullets for heavy loads?

Are you sure that thing doesn't use black powder? I think we need more information about the firearm.
