I picked 250 cause we always take 200 rounds with us but I have my son my nephew and brother in law who also shoot.

Is this just for shotguns? I feel discriminated against. :D I mostly shoot pistols and a few rifles. I have a Mossy 500, but don't shoot it much. I don't reload shotgun shells.

If I am shooting pistols it is over 100 easy. Rifle would be between 20 and 50 depending on what I am shooting.

If I'm alone and decide to step out in the yard and shoot, I usually go through 25-50 rounds.

I'm assuming bobski is referring to going out and shooting clays that's what I shot this many rounds for.

'we' doesnt count. how many do YOU shoot per day?
and it doesnt have to be clays. i want to know how many times you pull the trigger and get kicked in your shoulder.

I could not say for sure we all just take turns shooting but I do go out alone occasionally and take a value pack 100 rounds with 90 clays and always shoot them all.

Depensds on the shotgun and the type of shooting.

Hunting, small game: 1 to 15 depending of type of game, and shots presented.
hunting, big game: 1 to 2, same conditions as above
    Skeet\trap\sporting clays: I bring 200 rounds, 100 in 12, 100 in 20 or 410, and shoot at least 1 round per shotgun\sport, so on average, 75 rounds.
Turkey shoots, 10 rounds per shotgun, or per choke. some are slig gun shoots, some are pattern shoots, some around here have both. 9 times out of 10, I just bring about 35 to 40 rounds and my 185d with all of it's chokes.
Slug gun sight in\POA\POI check: 20 rounds for sight in, 5 for sight check. During the checks, 1 round will usually tell me all i need to know.

Depends on what I'm hunting, if I'm hunting from camp ,or driving out from home. If my family members are in attendance......

Usually I fill a limit well within a box of shells. But I usually carry a case or two of shells with me into the field given above circumstances.

I'm not a shotgun shooter, so about 10 to pattern or just practice. If hunting deer 1 or 2.

I shoot 100 rounds on Tuesdays with the 4H and then 2 or 3 rounds of skeet on Sundays.
